"As my sister is a great enthusiast of flowers and everything to do with botany, I gave her an outing to Porrentruy for her birthday. It was the ideal time since it was spring. Naturally, we went to the botanical garden above the old town, near to the Jesuit Church. The irises were full bloom: a real festival of colours, shapes and varieties (apparently there are more than 180 different types). The park next to the garden is ideal for relaxing and watching the world. We continued our tour with a visit to the greenhouses next to the Science Museum. There are various climates inside, allowing all sorts of tropical flowers, orchids and cacti to thrive. A joy to behold."
