"One Saturday, we met up with our family who had come from Italy and we were looking for an outing to enjoy with the children and grandchildren close to home. Why don't we go to the taxidermist in Vicques, we thought, to see his collection of stuffed animals? So we rang and booked a visit. Once we arrived, the children were excited to be able to get so close the animals without getting bitten. There were big animals like bears, wolves, tigers and birds that they had only ever seen on television or in books. We were really impressed by how lifelike the stuffed animals looked in their beautiful settings. It was a real discovery for young and old."
