Kneipp barefoot trail
"After we had already heard from various people about a new activity at the Jura adventure park we were curious to go and see for ourselves. So we took the whole family to Rebeuvelier to try out the only barefoot trail in French-speaking Switzerland. At the entrance we left shoes, sandals and socks behind and started walking barefoot on the different types of ground. First we were a bit sceptical about the fir cones, mire, crushed glass and cocoa beans, but what a pleasant and fun feeling to walk on! Along the path there are hydrotherapy stations with cold spring water. We learned about the Kneipp method of prevention and cure of many illnesses, which in any case is very refreshing. After having walked the 2 km of the trail we had a nice cup of Kneipp herbal tea on the beautiful terrace of the restaurant while discussing our exciting experiences and discoveries."
The Kneipp barefoot trail is a loop trail of 2 km to be walked barefoot. It was made to feel nature under your feet, i.e. by walking through various basins and types of ground (wood, stone, water, straw and even mud!). There are workshops to help you discover your senses, and the experience of hydrotherapy enables visitors to learn about the Kneipp method of natural health protection. Shoes can be left at the shoe deposit. We recommend to bring a small towel to dry your feet upon return. Dogs are not allowed on the trail.
Adults and children from 8 years: CHF 5.00
Children up to 8 years: free of charge
Guided Kneipp visits (upon reservation) for a minimum of 10 persons, duration 2h: CHF 150.00
