"As we are travelling through the Franches-Montagnes, we feel a sudden urge to grab a bite to eat. Spotting the country women's shop, we stop in the centre of the village. We find exactly what we are looking for: bread freshly baked on the farm (by the woman selling it to us, in fact), air-dried sausages, regional cheeses and even some waffles for dessert. All we have to do now is find a nice place for a picnic under a fir tree close to the village."
