"We had just ridden down the Combe Tabeillon by bike from Montfaucon and narrowly missed the train to Glovelier. It was a nice day and the children wanted to keep moving, so there was no way we could make them wait for an hour at the station. So we decided to carry on cycling all the way to Delémont. We didn't know that there was a cycle track running through all the village, so that was a nice surprise. We rode through fields, by the side of the Sorne and alongside lush hedges to reach Delémont, but not before making a little detour via the campsite to enjoy an ice cream by the waterside and admire the impressive waterfall. In the end we returned to Basle, happy despite this unexpected change of plan."
