"I went with my husband and the children to Les Genevez. They were keen to do a few descents, just to warm up for the school holidays. Personally I don't ski, at least not since I had a bad fall that knocked my confidence and put me off. Rather than spend my afternoon in the snack bar, I took the opportunity to hire some snowshoes there. It was a lovely day and I set off happily through the big snow-covered fir trees. What a pleasure - the signposting was perfect, I walked for a couple of hours and met up with my family again before sunset."
