"Flowing between the cliffs of the gorges of Pichoux, the Sorne leaps from waterfall to waterfall before coming to rest for a while at the Lac Vert dam. Between two steep forests, the current follows its course, joined by three waterfalls rising from the limestone massif. This dreamy place will gradually warm up in the sunshine. I am on the bank, between the pond and the path, my rod at the ready. With or without a float, my hook baited with a worm, I am going to explore the bottom of the pond, more than five metres beneath my feet. This is not the ideal place for fishing. The dam has no steps, which means the trout cannot reach the pond. So they are born there or in the little brooks that flow into the pond. But it is a magical place. As the evening comes, the dragonflies, butterflies and birds are replaced by bats. In this enchanting world, I admire the beauty of nature, keeping a close eye on the tip of my rod, which bends whenever the greedy trout make a bid for the bait. If I catch one, my girlfriend will have the chance to enjoy a fish that lives in the purest water and tastes better than any other fish in the Jura. If not, I will come back..."
