Golf Club, Les Bois
"I remember that short but beautiful morning on a school outing a few years ago. The school bus dropped us off at Les Bois and we were all looking forward to getting our "sticks" (is that the right word?) and a few balls. We were allowed on a course for "beginners", which is what we were when we got there. There is a special way to hold your club (that's the word I was looking for) and you have to pay attention to every precise detail, otherwise the ball will never go far, that's if it goes anywhere at all. You can take a huge swing at it, but it will still be at your feet. Our first attempts are not very impressive and we quickly realise that it looks a lot easier on TV. After a few minutes we become more confident and start to concentrate more. Now we can hit the ball faster and higher. It is very satisfying and we would like to spend the day here. Sadly, it's time for us to hit the road again..."
The holes on this harmonious and well-balanced course alternate between the woods and open spaces. The wide variety of difficulties, hazards and tees makes the course accessible to beginners but also demanding for experienced players.
Created in a former Jura farmhouse, the Club House and its magnificent terrace offer a fantastic view overlooking the 18th hole and one of the two ponds.
