A looping route starting from Les Genevez

"At the start, I took the trouble to visit the Rural Museum at Les Genevez, which is small but very interesting. Then, walking towards Lajoux on a fine country path across the meadows, each more beautiful than the last, a stop-off at the forest cabin of Les Petites Combes gave me the opportunity to photograph a patch of martagon lilies in full bloom. At the church in Lajoux, the stained glass windows by Coghuf were well worth a visit. Afterwards, the climb towards Bellelay gave me one last fabulous view of the village of Lajoux and its surroundings. At the end of that Sunday afternoon, an organ concert at Bellelay abbey put me in a contemplative mood. On the way back to Les Genevez along the monks' path, I had plenty of time to recall this wonderful walk."
