"I started riding with my best friend and it was really great. When we arrived at the riding stables, the instructor showed us how to prepare a horse, brush it, saddle it and bridle it. Then we were ready for our first lesson on the longe line. I started with some exercises to gain confidence, like touching the horse's ears and my own feet. Then she put the horse into a trot and I started to learn the rising trot. To begin with it's quite hard to lift yourself in time with the horse, but my instructor told me it would become a habit after a few training lessons. I am looking forward to the next lessons so I can learn to gallop as well, then I'll be able to go riding outside and admire the beautiful Franches-Montagnes landscape."
